Jen has been traveling throughout Baja California since she was six months old. She was born and raised just over the border in San Diego, California where her parents started Discover Baja in 1991. Growing up, family time was spent exploring the Baja peninsula in a VW camper.

Jen moved to New York at the age of 18 where she studied journalism at New York University and spent a decade working in the fashion industry. She worked at magazines such as Marie Claire, W, Vanity Fair and InStyle. 

Jen moved back to the west coast in 2013 and is currently the marketing director for Discover Baja where she writes the monthly newsletter and works on special events and business relationships. She and her husband reside in Northern Baja and lead unique custom wine, beer and culinary tours of the region with their company Baja Test Kitchen. Jen has published two guidebooks about Baja, Moon Baja and Moon Los Cabos.
